Chyna & Demitrius: A Love Story Years in the Making
Chyna and Demitrius’s love story began when they met in Junior High. After going their separate ways during high school, life brought them back together over three years ago. Since then, they’ve built a beautiful life together, buying their first home and an engagement over Christmas. As they planned their special day they knew they wanted a more intimate wedding with close family and friends. They chose The Coronado House in Phoenix to hold their micro wedding. It was the perfect day for an intimate celebration of their love and the journey that brought them here.
What Is a Micro Wedding?
A micro wedding is a smaller, more intimate version of a traditional wedding, typically with fewer than 50 guests. Allowing couples to focus on meaningful moments and celebrate their love surrounded by their closest family and friends. Micro weddings often emphasize quality over quantity, with attention to personal details that reflect the couple’s story. For Chyna and Demitrius, this format created an atmosphere of warmth and connection that made their special day unforgettable.
It was a beautiful April day for Chyna and Dimitrius’s micro wedding at the Coronado House, a 100-year-old historic Craftsman-style home located in downtown Phoenix, with rich history and elegant architecture, the venue offers both indoor and outdoor spaces ideal for smaller gatherings. From getting ready to the ceremony to the reception every aspect is thought of when holding a wedding here, it provided the background of this wonderful day.
Chyna was radiant as she prepared for her day in the bridal suite, surrounded by her bridesmaids. She wore a stunning lace-sleeved gown adorned with intricate floral details and a flowing veil that added a romantic, ethereal touch. Her bridesmaids complemented her perfectly in long lilac dresses. They shared laughter and excitement while getting ready.
Meanwhile, Demitrius and his groomsmen prepared in their own designated space, a cozy area where they could relax, enjoy a drink, and share stories and laughter before the ceremony. The groomsmen donned classic navy blue suits, their polished look adding a modern yet sophisticated contrast to the lilac tones of the bridesmaids. The setting gave them a moment to unwind and soak in the significance of the day, perfectly captured in candid moments of camaraderie.
Chyna walked down the aisle to her groom at the front of the Coronado House surrounded by family and friends. From there it was to the back for the intimate reception. Guests gathered around farmhouse tables adorned with the simple yet elegant decor of navy blue table settings with a touch of gold. The pastel florals—blush roses, lilac blooms, and lush greenery—created an enchanting Spring feel, highlighting the timeless elegance of the day. The laid-back reception included plenty of time for dancing, heartfelt toasts, and a charming dessert table, where guests chose from an array of sweet treats. The smaller guest list allowed Chyna and Demitrius to truly savor these moments, making their day feel uniquely personal.
Chyna and Demitrius’s micro wedding was not just a celebration of their love but a testament to the beauty of intimate weddings.
Congratulations, Chyna and Demitrius! Wishing you endless joy and love as you embark on this beautiful new chapter of your lives together.
