The Cottage Wedding Venue: Mr. + Mrs Alfafara Wedding

Tucked away in the heart of Gilbert, Arizona, The Cottage Wedding Venue exudes timeless charm and rustic elegance. Surrounded by lush greenery and bathed in Arizona’s warm sunlight, this intimate setting provides couples with the perfect backdrop for their special day. I had the pleasure of photographing Priscilla and Reylan’s wedding here and let me tell you it was a show stopper!

Priscilla and Reylan met up at Northern Arizona University at a biology class. Reylan was a junior and Priscilla a freshman, he approached her during a study group and asked her name. The next class he came up and asked for her number so she could be part of another study group, but there was no study group. From there they hung out and now 5 years since the time they met, they are now married.

Priscilla and Reylan had every detail planned out for their wedding at The Cottage Wedding Venue. The color scheme was so elegant, the bridesmaids in long forest green dresses while the groom and groomsmen in grey suits and gold ties. The floral bouquets of white roses and eucalyptus were the perfect muted tones to compliment. Hints of gold could also be seen in the jewelry and plate settings. Priscilla, radiant in a stunning, strapless white dress with a graceful long train, had all the fun planned out on that day. She gifted her wedding party with turquoise robes with gold lettering on the back and enjoyed some champagne and laughter before getting ready. The bride also did a first look with her dad and in a separate first look with the groomsmen. This new and fun upcoming trend is becoming a favorite of mine. Not only do the groomsmen get to go back to the groom and pep him for how stunning his bride is, Priscilla also surprised them with a six pack on Smirnoff ice.

As the bride was walked down the aisle by her father, Reylan was standing up at the alter waiting for her. The tears he had upon seeing her, shows the love and excitement he had for this day. They exchanged their vowels and said I do. As we snuck away for their wedding portraits, love and laughter filled the time. The reception took place outside the The Cottage, it was a beautiful day. As the sunset, everyone had the time of their life dancing! There was so much dancing! Priscilla and Reylan even danced their way out for their grand exit lined by their family and friends with sparklers.
